Amber Heard has stated in an interview with People magazine that the $7,000,000 divorce settlement she received from Johnny Depp has been given to several charitable organizations, including the ACLU.
Amber Heard has donated the entirety of the $7 million settlement she received from Johnny Depp to charitable causes.
Heard, who is 30 years old, claimed that the amount of money he had did not impact his life in any way. This was in accordance with the terms of the divorce settlement as well as the restraining order. He suggested that the funds could be given to a charitable organization to help people who are less fortunate.
She stated that the divorcing couples had received a donation of $7 million, according to the stories that were published in the media.
Heard made the rounds in the press and boasted about her altruism, claiming that she had contributed all seven million dollars of Johnny Depp's money. It was estimated that a total of seven million dollars will be contributed. I donated half of it to the ACLU and the other half to Children's Hospital Los Angeles, she explained to the crowd in the recording studio. She asserted, "I wanted nothing" in her defense.
For YEARS Amber Heard used terminally ill children and ACLU for publicity. She claimed she donated 7million dollars to CHLA and ACLU. both organizations now confirmed she did not donate to them that amount. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp pic.twitter.com/qHjT8yYNtx

The ACLU was subpoenaed to testify by Depp in his lawsuit against Heard for defamation, and this is the source of the problem. A lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union named Terence Dougherty stated that the amount of money supplied by Amber was less than what was committed, and that $500,000 of the donation came from Elon Musk, while Johnny Depp contributed $100,000. Johnny has suffered many wounds as a result of his marriage to Heard, and the fact that Heard used $100,000 of Johnny's money to pay for the item that he is now suing her for is merely rubbing salt in the wounds. The contentious opinion piece published in the Washington Post that is at the center of this tale was crafted with the assistance of four attorneys from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

The testimony that was reported by The Wrap was in direct opposition to Heard's statements.
Dougherty asserted that Heard gave Depp a direct payment of $350,000, while Depp himself gave an indirect payment of $100,000 to Heard's ex-husband. Elon Musk, who was previously involved with Heard, sent $500,000 to Dougherty. The sum of $100,000 was given to Depp's former husband by Depp.

I recently heard that the Los Angeles Children's Hospital would receive a donation of $3.5 million. On the other hand, they were only given $100,000.
The letter in late June 2019 from the CHLA to Amber Heard stating they have received no more from her pledge of 3.5 million since Johnny Depp paid the initial 100k in 2016 before Amber threw her fit demanding she receive the money. Her career and her chances improved after she accused Johnny Depp of abusing Amber Heard, who was his wife. Dougherty directed the audience's attention to the page on the ACLU website that identifies Heard as an ACLU ambassador. The sole piece of evidence indicating that Heard was a victim of gender-based violence were her charges against her ex-husband.
In spite of the fact that the defense has already conducted its cross-examinations, they have not yet presented their evidence. It would appear that the general public is on #TeamJohnny's side.
