Dick Morris Predicts Trump will be Indicted Over Records

During an appearance on "John Bachman Now" on Newsmax, political analyst Dick Morris claimed that former President Donald Trump will be indicted on a "technical violation" of the legislation governing the National Archives and Records Administration.

According to Morris, the archivist doesn't appear to care if the records are stored in the basement of Trump's house or at the archives facility; nonetheless, they are still going to use any excuse they can find to try to disqualify him from running for president in 2024.

Morris continued by saying that Democrats are aware of the necessity of removing Trump from office and that they are prepared to take any action necessary to achieve this goal.

And the raid of Trump's estate in Mar-a-Lago, which he added was simply a brazen illustration of that, as it is evident that they see this as a zero-sum game, was just another example of that.

In the meanwhile, Morris stated that he was looking forward to the additional hiring of IRS officers that was planned through the Inflation Reduction Act of the administration.
Despite this, he is of the opinion that if the Republicans win control of the House and Senate this fall, they would eliminate funding for the agents from the appropriations bill for the fiscal year 2023-2024.

In the event that the funding is not removed, this might result in a shutdown of the government; however, Morris warned that the Republicans have lost the last four out of the five confrontations of this kind in recent history because their messages were not clear.
