Instead, the party appears to be reeling from its own choices, desperately trying to find a path while stuck with the baggage of past failures. The irony is that as they search for a new face, there’s a distinct lack of innovative ideas and a failure to connect with the very electorate they profess to serve.
So there it is, the Democratic Party grappling with a leadership crisis in the wake of Trump’s resurgence. Psaki’s reflections highlight a defining moment for a party that seems poised to self-destruct rather than emerge stronger.
