In a recent interview, Vice President Kamala Harris made yet another misleading claim about her approval ratings. When asked about her low rating among voters, she responded by saying that other polls show her with “great approval ratings.” Well, it seems like Harris needs a reality check because a fact-checking organization called PolitiFact has delivered a harsh rebuke.
According to PolitiFact, the polls Harris is referring to were conducted more than 100 public polls ago. They reviewed the data and found that the most recent poll where more people approved than disapproved of Harris’ performance was from October 2021 – that’s over 100 polls ago! It turns out that the majority of current public polls show her underwater, with 39.7% approving and 52.3% disapproving of her performance. Ouch!
Don’t you love it when facts outweigh the lies? The polls show her comments on her approval rating to be false. You’d think she’d be embarrassed, but she’s not.

But hey, facts don’t seem to matter to Harris. When asked about her low approval ratings, she chose to deflect the blame and talk about “distractions away from the accomplishments of our administration.” Typical politician move, right? Instead of taking responsibility and addressing the concerns of the American people, she tries to shift the focus to something else. It’s clear that she’s more concerned about saving face than actually addressing the issues at hand.
This isn’t the first time Harris has made misleading statements or stumbled over her words. Just recently, during a press conference with the prime minister of Mongolia, she repeated the phrase “space cooperation” three times in just 30 seconds. It’s like she’s reading off a script without even understanding what she’s saying. And let’s not forget her embarrassing explanation of artificial intelligence, where she started off with the brilliant statement, “First of all, it’s two letters.” Seriously?
Look, we need a vice president who can communicate effectively and accurately represent the American people. Harris has proven time and time again that she’s not up to the task. It raises serious doubts about her ability to step up and lead if anything were to happen to President Joe Biden. We deserve a vice president who is competent, knowledgeable, and trustworthy – and unfortunately, Harris falls short on all accounts.
It’s important to hold our elected officials accountable for their words and actions. The fact that Harris would make false claims about her approval ratings only further demonstrates her lack of integrity and disregard for the truth. We need leaders who will prioritize the needs of the American people, not politicians who will say anything to save face.
