On Monday, John Solomon reported on memos that had been leaked and showed that the Biden White House had had a role in initiating the criminal inquiry into Trump's management of documents.
The DOJ was able to subpoena Trump when they destroyed his executive privilege defenses.
There wouldn't have been a raid without that subpoena.

According to papers seen by investigative writer John Solomon, the Biden White House coordinated directly with the Department of Justice and the National Archives to help with the probe into Trump's management of materials.
Joe Biden’s spokeswoman has frequently claimed Joe Biden had no knowledge of the raid and that he found out about it in the media.
The memos say that the criminal probe was initiated by the Biden White House in order to prevent Trump from using executive privilege.
In April, Jonathan Su, who was then the White House Deputy Counsel, spoke with officials from the FBI, Department of Justice, and National Archives.

According to the memos, former White House Deputy Counsel Jonathan Su spoke with the FBI, DOJ, and National Archives in April, not long after Trump voluntarily surrendered 15 boxes of classified and other records from his Florida mansion to the federal historical agency.
In May, Su informed the Archives that President Joe Biden would not object to waiving his predecessor's rights to executive powers, allowing the DOJ to obtain a subpoena from a grand jury ordering Trump to turn over any residual records he held from his time in office.

This morning, Donald Trump answered back on Truth Social. The poly was deemed "a political NO, NO!" by Trump.
He was quite critical of the Biden administration for claiming ignorance of the matter.

The White House has been quite clear that they are NOT INVOLVED in the political witch hunt against me and that they are NOT INFORMED about the break-in at Mar-a-Lago.
