In the latest poll results for the 2024 presidential election, former President Donald Trump is once again leading the pack, leaving President Joe Biden in his dust. Trump is ahead of Biden by a whopping 4%, earning 44% of the respondent’s vote compared to Biden’s measly 40%. It seems like deja vu from the last general election, with these two going head-to-head once again.
But it’s not just Biden feeling the heat from Trump. Even Vice President Kamala Harris has reason to worry, as Trump performs even better against her, getting 46% of the vote compared to Harris’s 40%. Ouch!
And it’s not just Trump’s popularity that’s causing concern for Biden. A staggering 58% of respondents expressed doubt about Biden’s mental capabilities to serve as president, and who can blame them? The man is turning 81 years old this November, and let’s just say, he’s not getting any younger. It’s time for some younger blood in the Oval Office, don’t ya think?
But it’s not all about Trump in this poll. In a hypothetical scenario where Trump doesn’t run in 2024 (gasp!), 23% of respondents said they would vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. It seems like DeSantis is shaping up to be Trump’s biggest rival in the Republican primary. Move over, Trump, there’s a new kid in town!
And let’s not forget about business entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who came in as a close second choice for respondents’ non-Trump pick at 22%. Looks like Trump has some competition from an unlikely source.

Now, some may doubt Trump’s viability as a candidate given his legal troubles, but he couldn’t care less. Trump has multiple indictments hanging over his head related to his challenges to the 2020 election results and his handling of classified documents. But he’s not losing any sleep over it. In fact, he’s built “a little differently” and is confident that he will come out on top. And who are we to doubt him? Trump has always been a winner.
