Biden Bailout? 2024 Race May Lose Its Dem Front-Runner!

The independent presidential candidate Cornel West made a startling claim, suggesting that President Joe Biden may not even be around for the 2024 general election, saying he thinks Biden might drop out of the race.

West, who recently left the Green Party to launch an independent run, believes that Biden could follow in the footsteps of former President Lyndon B. Johnson, who decided not to seek reelection after initially being a strong contender for the Democratic nomination in 1968.

If West does end up vying for the presidency, he might not even be facing off against Biden, but rather against two Democratic governors, Gavin Newsom of California and Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan. These governors have been rumored as potential replacements for Biden but have denied any plans to run for president.

Now, Newsom has repeatedly refuted these rumors and has even thrown his support behind Biden. However, some allegations suggest that Newsom is secretly running a campaign for the presidency, despite his denials.

Whitmer has also rejected calls for her to run for president in 2024, going as far as to say she doesn’t see herself ever seeking the highest office in the land.

West didn’t hold back in his criticism of the two possible frontrunners. He called Biden a “milquetoast neoliberal with military adventurism, possibly leading the world toward World War III” and portrayed former President Donald Trump as a “bona fide gangsta, neo-fascist, Pied Piper leading the country for the second civil war.”

While some Democrats have expressed concerns that West’s third-party bid could siphon votes away from Biden and ultimately benefit Trump in the 2024 race, West doesn’t seem bothered by the “spoiler” label. He firmly believes that a vote for Biden or Trump is simply a vote for Biden or Trump, and is confident that his candidacy won’t undermine the election process.

With West’s unapologetic candor and refusal to accept the label of “spoiler,” the 2024 presidential race is shaping up to be a contentious and unpredictable battle.

The conservative republican news writer notes that while West’s comments about Biden dropping out of the 2024 race might seem surprising, in politics, nothing is truly off the table, and anything can happen.
