Hallelujah, folks! We can all breathe a sigh of relief as President Joe Biden managed to locate his pen and actually sign a bill to temporarily fund the government. Yes, it’s true! A federal shutdown has been narrowly avoided. But hold onto your hats, because Biden couldn’t resist the urge to throw a tantrum and take a few shots at hardworking MAGA extremists while he was at it.
In a speech just a day after pulling off this grand feat of signing a bill, Biden had the audacity to complain about being “sick and tired” of those dreadful “MAGA extremists.” Now, I don’t know about you, but last time I checked, Biden was supposed to be the President of ALL Americans, not just the ones he agrees with. But I guess inclusivity and unity are just fancy words in his dictionary.
With a fiery rage in his eyes, Biden pointed his finger at House Republicans and unleashed a barrage of insults. “Enough is enough is enough!” he bellowed, as if we were watching a bad reality TV show. Is this how a president should behave? I think not! But hey, what do I know? I’m just a lowly conservative news writer trying to make sense of the madness.
Meanwhile, over in the Senate, the Democrats were playing their own little games. Colorado Democratic Senator Michael Bennett threatened to block the bill’s passage because it didn’t include more funding for Ukraine. Seriously? Is our government now held hostage by the demands of every senator who wants to sprinkle some extra cash wherever they please? It’s a shame that a simple, temporary funding bill had to turn into a Ukrainian aid negotiation circus.

Not to be outdone by Biden, Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania took to Twitter to express his frustration. Apparently, he believes that the Freedom Caucus is turning our government into “The Steve Wilkos Show.” I have to give it to Fetterman for his creative comparison, but last time I checked, The Steve Wilkos Show was just a trashy talk show, not a seat of democratic governance. Perhaps Senator Fetterman should spend less time on Twitter and more time actually working for the American people.
It’s become abundantly clear that the Biden administration thrives on drama and chaos. From the president’s tiresome tirades to the Senate’s obsession with Ukrainian aid, it’s no wonder our government is dysfunction personified. We deserve leaders who prioritize the needs of the American people, not those who throw tantrums and manipulate the system for their own political gain. Here’s hoping we can see some true leadership in the future, but until then, buckle up, folks, because it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
