Bidenomics Fails As American Jobs Dry Up Replaced By Millions Of Migrant Laborers

Bidenomics has turned out to be a colossal failure, with the numbers on job creation resembling the last few slices of a party pizza after everyone had their fill. Under President Joe Biden, around 160,000 jobs were added each year, but that pales in comparison to the staggering 4.7 million positions created for migrants—nearly three million of whom entered the country illegally. This means that for every new job snagged by an American, a whopping 7.3 jobs went to migrants. Thus, while the economy may have been puffed up superficially, it was at the expense of American workers who have been left with empty plates and empty pockets.

The so-called Bidenomics didn’t just fail to bolster American employment, it also unleashed a tidal wave of costly consequences that inflated national debt by an eye-watering $8 trillion. Wages floundered, housing costs surged, and workplace investments seem to have flatlined right along with the livelihoods of many working-class Americans. The administration seems to have prioritized importing labor over assisting struggling Americans, leaving millions without jobs and increasingly reliant on government handouts. It is a classic case of prioritizing a quick fix over a sustainable solution.

Remarkably, January 2025 is projected to see 22.1% of American men, aged 16 to 64, not engaged in the labor force, marking a historically high rate for an economic expansion. This stark figure indicates a troubling trend: rather than empowering American workers, the Biden administration has opted for an influx of foreign workers, effectively outsourcing opportunities that could have been extended to struggling citizens. If only the administration had invested resources in training and supporting these displaced workers; it could have made a tangible difference in their economic prospects.

The strategy of flooding the labor market with migrants raises eyebrows when looking at job displacement data. The staggering arrival of approximately 9 million migrants—as well as a smattering of white-collar workers on H-1B visas—coincidentally coincided with a decline in job opportunities for Americans. Countries like the U.K., Canada, and Germany saw similar downturns, illuminating a clear pattern where migration policies undermine local employment levels.

While Biden officials try to paint migration as an economic necessity, the reality is that it serves the interests of investors and corporate fat cats more than everyday Americans. The influx of low-paid migrants suppresses wages and curtails the need for companies to invest in productivity. Since when did it become beneficial to view a workforce as simply names on a balance sheet? The administration’s quick-fix approach prioritized growth in consumer numbers rather than meaningful investments that would enhance productivity and lead to a stronger middle class.

In response to the growing frustration among American workers, there’s a renewed push among business lobbyists to ensure an ongoing influx of cheap labor. The near hysteria over potential wage increases due to stricter immigration policies reveals just how far removed many in Washington are from the struggles of ordinary American families. It is a misguided notion to believe that more workers will lead to a better economy when it robs real Americans of opportunities and fair compensation.

The GOP, under the newly emboldened stance of Donald Trump, appears to be rekindling the promise of reclaiming American jobs for Americans. Any shifts towards tighter immigration policies could mitigate the negative impacts of the past few years. The pressure from corporate interests will undoubtedly continue, but the message from hardworking Americans must resonate louder. The focus must shift towards policies that truly prioritize American families and the prosperity of the nation. It’s high time to end the marketplace of disposable labor and start fostering a robust economic environment for all citizens.
