The White House Press Corps (WHPC) and the Biden administration are butting heads in a showdown over the coverage of President Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities. It seems that the journalists finally woke up to the fact that Biden’s age and memory issues have been blatantly obvious for quite some time. However, instead of doing their jobs and informing the public, they chose to sweep the matter under the rug like it was a dirty little secret.
Conservatives understand why the mainstream media turned a blind eye to these glaring issues. It’s because they are nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Democrats. They have no problem pushing their biased narratives, but when it comes to holding a Democrat president accountable, suddenly they lose their journalistic integrity.

To make matters worse, the Biden White House decided to scold the WHPC for their coverage of the Hur report, which sheds light on Biden’s shortcomings. They accused the journalists of disseminating “striking inaccuracies” about the president, conveniently ignoring the fact that Hur himself acknowledged Biden’s age and memory problems.
It’s not surprising that the press didn’t take kindly to being reprimanded by their beloved administration. WHCA president Kelly O’Donnell, a member of NBC News, fired back, expressing her discontent with the White House’s public and personal approach. She reminded them that the WHCA is an independent organization focused on advocating for their members and not a puppet for the government’s agenda. Ouch, that burn must have stung.
But let’s not forget the nugget of truth that O’Donnell let slip: the association has never controlled or policed the journalism of its members or their employers. Well, isn’t that interesting? It seems like they may not have enforced control, but they certainly followed an unspoken rule: protect Democrats at all costs. The press corps knowingly downplayed Biden’s health issues from the get-go, and now, they are sheepishly confessing to their fellow journalists about their biased coverage.
In the end, it’s not just Biden’s mental lapses that were confirmed by the Hur report. The media’s lapdog tendencies to cover for Democrats have also been laid bare for everyone to see. The supposed watchdogs of democracy have become obedient lapdogs, wagging their tails and slobbering over their beloved Democrats. It’s a sad state of affairs when the mainstream media prioritizes partisanship over journalistic integrity. But hey, when has that ever surprised us conservatives?
