Biden’s DNC Speech Pandered to Radical Agendas and Ignored American Hostages

Biden’s first night at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago seemed more like a late-night infomercial than a serious political rally. After finally deciding to grace the stage with his presence nearly an hour late, Biden’s remarks veered into territory that could make even the most seasoned Democrat cringe. He tossed out an outrageous comment about pro-Islamic terrorism activists having “a point” as he mused about “globalizing the intifada.” For the uninitiated, this term translates to a fancy way of apologizing for the murder and chaos that radical groups inflict on everyday citizens. It’s baffling that Biden would even entertain such rhetoric when every bus passenger and café patron knows the real terror of these ideologies.

As the clock ticked closer to midnight, the crowd in the arena was treated to plenty of applause for Biden’s absurd intentions, which involved throwing more aid at Palestinians while completely ignoring the plight of American hostages held by Hamas. His focus on funding further emphasized that, to him, it’s more critical to spread cash around the Middle East than to prioritize American lives. This is a classic case of the Biden administration choosing to ignore the very real and dire consequences of supporting radical factions in the region.

The DNC may like to pretend it’s the party of compassion, but the reality is on full display. Biden’s speech not only neglected to mention specific American hostages currently under the control of Iranian-backed Hamas but promoted the careless idea of a ceasefire while pandering to a crowd that likely included supporters of last month’s violent attacks. It’s almost as if the party believes that by throwing money at problems, they will magically disappear—spoiler alert: it usually only leads to more chaos.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris is busy courting the same pro-terrorism voters in Michigan, undoubtedly looking to secure some misguided votes to stave off the loss against former President Trump. This strategy raises numerous eyebrows and begs the question of who exactly the Democrats believe their base is. It appears the Democratic Party is willing to cozy up to radical ideas and individuals with little regard for the implications of such actions. One has to wonder how far they are willing to go for a few extra votes.

The irony couldn’t be richer as Biden draws comparisons to Charlottesville while ignoring the violent demonstrations that echo his very words outside the convention. Vandalism targeting statues and outright endorsements of Hamas serves as a glaring reminder that the grassroots movement within the Democratic Party is alive and well. Instead of calling out these extremists, Biden is providing them a platform with his words, leaving many to question if this is the direction the Democrats want to take America. With each passing day, it becomes clearer which side the Biden administration has opted for, and it certainly isn’t the side of American interests.
