Biden’s Foggy Threat to Supreme Court: Protecting Roe or Just Power-Hungry?

President Biden, in a somewhat foggy foghorn moment, seemed to lay down the law to the Supreme Court during his State of the Union speech. Did he forget that the judicial branch is a branch of its very own—separate and not about to be steamrolled by the executive branch? Biden’s veiled threat over Roe v. Wade seemed more like a petulant child trying to push the Justices around. Hey, Biden, that’s not how the Constitution works!

The Supreme Court, bless their black robes, has some big decisions looming, including those that could rain on the left’s parade targeting former President Trump. Let’s hope they stand strong against the left’s relentless attempts to skewer Trump with legal shenanigans. The court setting a date in April to start unraveling Trump’s presidential immunity kerfuffle is bound to have the left squirming.

And don’t get us started on those January 6 cases. The left’s favorite obsessions, trying to hang anything on Trump, are looking shaky with the Supreme Court deciding on the legitimacy of certain charges. We all know the left is salivating to lock Trump up before the next election, but the justice system should be about facts, not political vendettas.

Biden also couldn’t resist taking a jab at his old foe, Trump, once again painting him as a danger to the country. Oh, come on, Biden! We all know who the real threat to democracy is—those who try to erode freedoms and stifle dissent under the guise of righteousness. Let’s hope the Justices hold the line and keep the executive branch in check, no matter how many cheers Biden gets from his side of the aisle.
