Biden’s Imaginary Triumph Questioned as Trump Dominance Looms in 2024 Election

Joe Biden’s delusions seem to know no bounds, particularly in the wake of his ill-fated campaign aspirations. In a fit of narcissism, he appears convinced that if he had charged back into the race, he would have clobbered Donald Trump in the 2024 election. However, there’s a tiny issue with that theory: reality. As one astute analyst aptly described Biden’s sentiments, that perspective is as “flat-out bonkers” as pulling a rabbit out of a hat while standing on one leg.

Evidence suggests that Biden was trailing Trump in a staggering number of swing states before he pulled the plug on his campaign. In fact, in the all-important electoral battlegrounds, Trump was poised to dominate, boasting lead margins that ranged from three to six points. Claiming that Biden could have pulled off a miraculous comeback is akin to betting on a turtle in a race against a cheetah. The blue wall was already crumbling, and Trump’s robust support was only growing stronger, particularly in key areas like the Sun Belt. Despite what his supporters might wish, the math simply didn’t add up in Biden’s favor.

When Biden stepped out of the race in July, he brought with him fading support from crucial demographics. Northern Virginia, once expected to be a stronghold, began showing troubling signs of discontent among voters. This plummet in popularity marked the beginning of the end for a potential rematch against Trump, but it seems that acknowledgment is yet to dawn on Biden.

Even while waving goodbye to his campaign dreams, the current President had a net negative approval rating of 19 points as Election Day loomed. No president in modern history has achieved re-election with such abysmal numbers. It’s as if Biden was planning to win on pure optimism—like putting on a circus show with no elephants or clowns. If he was counting on a surge in support that never materialized, he might as well have hoped for a unicorn sighting.

Ultimately, a Biden rivalry with Trump would have likely ended in electoral hara-kiri. In a scenario where most political analysts agree, Trump could have achieved a landslide victory with 325 electoral votes against a mere 213 for Biden. The anticipated outcome would not just have left Biden nursing his wounds, but would have illustrated a chasm between what Democrats wish were true and the reality that Republicans are ready to embrace. An electoral drubbing reminiscent of the 1980s would certainly send waves of laughter through the Republican ranks as they prepare for the next showdown.
