The White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, played a game of dodgeball when she was questioned about President Joe Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s questionable business dealings. Instead of offering a straightforward denial, Jean-Pierre resorted to deflecting and criticizing Republican lawmakers for their impeachment inquiry against the president. Classic move, blame the other team!
When confronted about Biden’s previous false statements denying any interaction with Hunter’s business associates, Jean-Pierre conveniently avoided addressing the issue head-on. She boldly claimed that there was “zero evidence” of the president doing anything wrong, despite emerging evidence that Hunter Biden used his father’s influence to make money through foreign business ventures that financially benefited the Biden family. Let’s just say there’s a lot of smoke around this fire!

To make matters worse, the press secretary failed to provide an “easy way to counter” the allegations made by Republicans. Instead, she resorted to declaring that the president was not lying about anything regarding House Republicans’ claims. Ah yes, denying the denial. That’ll surely win over the skeptics.
Jean-Pierre then deflected again, accusing Republicans of playing politics while neglecting urgent national issues and failing to fund the government or address immigration problems. It’s quite a stretch to connect Republicans investigating potential corruption to the border crisis, but hey, when you’re trying to avoid answering tough questions, why not throw a few unrelated jabs into the mix?
Last week, President Biden himself was asked about why he lied about interacting with his son’s foreign business associates. Rather than addressing the allegations directly, he dismissed them as “a bunch of lies” without providing any supporting evidence to refute the claims. Of course, they’re just lies until proven otherwise, right?
One of Hunter Biden’s former business associates even called out the president’s denial, stating that it was “complete malarkey” and that there is “plenty of evidence” contradicting his dismissive response. It’s fascinating how some people conveniently forget their interactions when it becomes politically convenient.
In the end, the White House’s refusal to give a clear denial or address the mounting evidence surrounding Biden’s ties to his son’s shady business dealings only raises more questions. If there’s nothing to hide, why not just come out and say it? It seems like the administration is more interested in deflecting blame and playing political games than being transparent with the American people. Remember, folks, trust is built on honesty, and boy, does this story smell fishier than a tuna sandwich left out in the sun!
