President Biden is spinning a tale taller than a giraffe wearing a top hat! Sleepy Joe Biden claimed that former President Trump tear-gassed peaceful protesters just so he could snap a photo with a Bible – sounds like a real whopper of a story! But hold the phone, that claim has been fact-checked and debunked more times than your grandma’s old quilt. The inspector general of the U.S. Department of Interior said Trump was as innocent as a fluffy bunny in a field of daisies when it comes to tear-gassing anyone in Lafayette Square for a photo-op.
Uncle Joe even had the audacity to wonder out loud what Trump would have done if black Americans had stormed the Capitol. Well, let’s be real here, Joe. Trump was more focused on making America great again than staging photo-ops. And let’s not forget, Biden claimed that Trump held the Bible upside down – talk about a head-scratcher! The media and Democrats went bananas, spreading stories about tear gas and upside-down Bibles like it was the latest celebrity gossip. The President took a leisurely stroll to a nearby church, causing the media to lose their marbles in the process.
Even some big names like Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton, and Kamala Harris jumped on the tear-gas bandwagon, spouting off about peaceful protesters getting gassed. But guess what? The Park Police said they used smoke canisters, not tear gas. It was a whole lot of fuss over nothing, like getting all worked up over a squirrel stealing your nuts.
And get this, Mayor Bowser defended the use of tear gas on protesters. So, what’s the real story here? Seems like the Democrats are more interested in spinning tall tales than facing the facts.
