The threats facing America from China and Russia are nothing to sneeze at these days! These sneaky countries have been poking around at our infrastructure like a bunch of nosy neighbors. They’ve been targeting everything from electricity to water, trying to find weak spots to exploit. Imagine that, trying to bring down the good ol’ U.S. of A without even firing a single shot!
Just recently, new information came out about our ports of entry. Apparently, those sneaky Chinese have been using cargo cranes as spy tools! Either these cranes were made in China or had parts from there that could be used to spy on us Americans. The Pentagon even called them “Trojan horses,” hiding in plain sight to gather info on what’s being shipped in and out for our military operations worldwide.
National security folks are saying China could use these cranes just like they do with those Huawei cell towers, spying on everything and everyone. It’s a good thing that the Biden administration is stepping up to the plate with a $20 billion plan to boost port security and replace those suspicious cranes. About time we put a halt to this Chinese spy game!
Now, the water supply is a whole other can of worms. The Biden bunch announced a $5.8 billion project to clean up our drinking water, which is great and all. We’ve got things like lead and microplastics polluting our water, so it’s definitely an important issue. But hey, why aren’t we beefing up the security of our water systems against these hacker groups too? We can’t just clean up the water and call it a day; we need to make sure it stays clean and safe from cyber attacks.
Let’s not forget that these troublemakers from Iran have already been hitting our water facilities. If it can happen in Western Pennsylvania, it can happen anywhere in the good ol’ US of A! We’re talking about serious threats here, and we can’t afford to take them lightly. The Chinese, the Russians, the Iranians – they’re all just itching to get a piece of our pie. We need to be two steps ahead of them at all times, tightening up our defenses and protecting our turf.
We need to have our guard up and ready for whatever these troublemakers throw our way. We must be proactive in defending our nation from any outside threats. So, let’s tighten those bolts, strengthen those defenses, and show these bullies that the good ol’ USA is not to be messed with! United we stand, strong and secure against any foe.
