The leftists are notorious for pointing fingers and yelling “You’re a racist!” at anyone who dares to disagree with their ideology, particularly conservatives. But what happens when one of the Democratic Party’s own leaders is exposed as a racist? Well, the hypocrites keep right on voting for him, of course.
Enter House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Back in 1992, when he was just a student at Binghamton University, Jeffries wrote an opinion piece for the college newspaper titled “The Black Conservative Phenomenon.” And let me tell you, it was rife with racism and even included a defense of anti-Semites.
Now, you might be wondering why CNN decided to dig up this previously unreported college editorial. Maybe they were trying to do damage control before other news outlets caught wind of it. Or maybe they just felt like throwing water on the firewood before the match was lit. But whatever their intentions, it backfired on them big time.
Jeffries, it turns out, was an executive board member of Binghamton’s Black Student Union, and he invited his uncle, Leonard Jeffries, a black studies professor at City College of New York, to speak on campus. Surprise, surprise, Leonard Jeffries was eventually fired for making anti-Semitic remarks. And when you take a closer look at Hakeem Jeffries’ editorial, it becomes clear that he not only defended his uncle, but also praised notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan.
In his editorial, Jeffries didn’t hold back. He denounced attacks on his uncle and Farrakhan, claiming they were being targeted by the “white media” and the “white power structure.” He even went so far as to question whether a ruling elite would promote individuals who would challenge their grip on power. It’s almost like he was practicing for a future role in a neo-Marxist organization like Black Lives Matter. And now, here he is as a congressional leader.
But don’t expect Jeffries to take responsibility for his words. He’s been trying to distance himself from his uncle’s views for years, claiming he only has a vague recollection of the controversy surrounding him. Nice try, Jeffries. But that opinion piece from 1992 tells a different story.
And what’s even more shocking is that the Democrats in Congress were well aware of all this when they voted unanimously for Jeffries to be the speaker of the House. I thought Democrats were supposed to hate racists and anti-Semites, but it seems like they have a different agenda. Maybe they’re just mindless insects following the orders of their master.
In the end, Jeffries’ editorial not only revealed his true colors, but also shed light on the hypocrisy of the left. They claim to be champions of tolerance and diversity, but when it comes to their own, they turn a blind eye to their racist and bigoted views. It says a lot about them, and it says even more about America.
