Far-left Publication Absurdly Suggests Trump Learn From Hitler

A far-left publication has managed to reach new depths of absurdity by suggesting that Donald Trump could learn a thing or two from Adolf Hitler. In a staggering display of ideological gymnastics, “The American Prospect” published an article making this ludicrous comparison, bringing ridiculousness to a whole new level. One has to marvel at the dedication required to continuously crank out such mind-boggling material.

The left has spent years warning Americans about Trump’s supposed dictatorship. With countless comparisons to historical tyrants like Hitler and Mussolini, it has become quite the spectacle to see these same voices flip the script and suggest that Trump should take a page from the Führer’s playbook. If this isn’t the epitome of cognitive dissonance, one has to wonder what is. Perhaps it’s time for them to get a reality check—something stronger than an underwhelming cup of self-righteousness.

The article even goes so far as to criticize Trump for attempting to rein in the excessive financial waste that is plaguing federal research funding, specifically targeting the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. With over 60 percent of funding at elite institutions like Harvard and Yale being labeled “overhead,” one can only chuckle at the irony of leftist outcry. These universities have often been at the forefront of calling for fiscal responsibility in other areas, yet they seem oblivious to their own budget excesses.

Critics in the article fail to debate the merits of overhead costs or why research institutions need so much cash directed toward administrative salaries instead of actual research. It paints a rather comical picture of the left: committed to sustaining a bureaucratic machine that drains taxpayer dollars, all while bemoaning any attempts to cut waste. The notion that Democrat ideologues are more interested in perpetuating their financial benefits than in genuine scientific advancement is hard to ignore.

Even more entertaining is the pivot from the left’s earlier claims that Trump could potentially establish a fascist regime to now implying he should emulate a notorious dictator who was all about—orchestrating research with an agenda, to say the least. It’s as if they cannot decide whether they want to cast him as a tyrant or an icon. This lack of self-awareness echoes their inability to consider the consequences of their own extreme methods and rhetoric.

Ultimately, leftist commentators might want to reconsider their approach before trying to draw parallels between historical figures and current politicians. It seems the more they attempt to implicate Trump in their narrative of doom and gloom, the more ridiculous and grasping for straws they become. As such, it could be beneficial for them to continue down this path—it is the only entertainment left in a world where they seem to be constantly at odds with reality.
