It’s almost as if Crooks took a page out of a spy novel, leaving investigators to play digital catch-up while the American people are left questioning the competency of an agency that has often been accused of political bias against conservative figures.
The discovery of a drone in Crooks’ vehicle adds an intriguing twist to the investigation. Not only was it found that Crooks intended to film Trump’s rally from the rooftops, but the drone was actively livestreaming just moments before his misguided actions. The FBI’s attempts to paint Crooks as just another disturbed individual are undermined by the sheer extent of his sinister planning. Who else but a deeply unstable individual would go to such lengths, aerial reconnaissance included, to attempt an attack on a former president?
