Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. J.D. According to Vance, the priority is straightforward: stop the unending tide of illegal immigration before any real fixes can even be contemplated. This is not just a sensible strategy; it’s a necessary one. The first order of business would be to recommence deportations and finish the construction of the border wall. In a bold declaration, Vance stated that the Trump administration would prioritize deporting the most violent offenders and make life more difficult for businesses that hire illegal workers. This would send a message that illegal immigration is not an acceptable option anymore. He astutely pointed out that if current officials don’t have the guts to send anyone back, they don’t really have a border policy at all—and they haven’t. Finally, amidst the criticism of how Vice President Kamala Harris has been handling the border crisis, Vance called on the media to hold her accountable. It seems the liberal press is more interested in covering for the Biden administration than in uncovering the facts of this growing crisis. Texas-sized problems require Texas-sized solutions, and Vance, along with Trump, is prepared to deliver just that.
