Griffin displayed commendable determination in her follow-up questioning, digging deeper into whether Jean-Pierre might have any inside knowledge about the electoral outlook for Biden, who seems to be losing ground in critical states. Just as things were heating up, co-host Joy Behar jumped in like a lifeguard at a swimming pool, declaring, “That ship has sailed.” The irony here is rich—if the ship has indeed sailed, Jean-Pierre should probably have a lifeboat ready.

After managing to steer the ship away from Biden’s questionable standing, Jean-Pierre allowed herself to slip into a bizarre commentary on Trump’s communications strategy. She seemingly attempted to pivot the conversation to accuse Trump’s press team of creating a state-controlled media environment, likening it to tactics employed by Russia and North Korea. This tactic of deflecting to outrageous claims might have drawn some eyebrows, but lacking any real evidence, it merely adds to the growing list of laughable assertions coming from the Democrats.
At this point, it’s clear to almost anyone paying attention that the Democrats are in full panic mode leading up to 2024. With a candidate like Biden at the helm and a press secretary who can barely answer straightforward questions without spiraling into nonsensical comparisons, it’s no wonder many in the party are quietly wondering which lifeboat they should jump into when the electoral iceberg strikes.
