This firm, conveniently tied to a number of Democratic clients, has piqued Trump’s interest, leading him to argue that this relationship is bias personified. Trump’s legal team is on a mission, asserting that his daughter’s professional connections could lead to financial and personal gains. Their strategy looks more like construction work, trying to build a case out of thin air while the judge chuckles quietly from the bench.
Merchan’s daughter’s connection to Harris is indeed eye-catching. Trump’s lawyers highlighted that she once worked on campaigns for the Vice President, who has a knack for appearing in every Democrat’s elevator pitch these days. Furthermore, a group with the cheeky name “White Dudes for Harris” has emerged, virtually throwing a party with dollar bills for Harris’s current campaign.
