This behavior was evident in Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris, who was widely recognized as ‘The Border Czar’ for over three years. However, as she emerged as a potential Democratic Presidential nominee, the title became a liability. To protect her chances at the presidency, the media and political allies hurriedly worked to erase her association with the border crisis.
Despite efforts to rewrite history, evidence of her title as the Border Czar remains readily available. The media, including reputable outlets like Axios, had previously referred to her as such. The attempt to distance Harris from her previous policy stances and titles demonstrates a significant effort to reshape her image entirely for her presidential campaign.
