Kevin O’Leary Champions Trump Plan To Make Canada 51st State In Bold Economic Proposal

Kevin O’Leary, known for his role on “Shark Tank,” has thrown his support behind President-elect Donald Trump’s audacious proposal that Canada should join the United States as its 51st state. While some might chuckle at the notion, O’Leary contends that Trump’s eccentric ideas often yield surprising discussions worth serious consideration. Apparently, mixing corporate strategy with international relations can lead to breakthroughs even Trump didn’t foresee.

During a recent meeting at Mar-a-Lago, Trump pressed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to resolve long-standing border issues and trade imbalances. The president-elect didn’t sugarcoat it, warning that without changes, he would impose hefty tariffs on Canadian goods. Trudeau, unsure of how to respond to such forthrightness, implied it could be disastrous for Canada. Undeterred, Trump retorted with a suggestion that if Canada relies on America to the tune of $100 billion, perhaps it should just become a state. Dramatic? Absolutely. But sometimes, a little theatrics gets the gears turning.

O’Leary elaborated on this proposition, advocating for a merger of the two nations into an “economic union.” He fantasizes about a shared currency and a system that makes travel as easy as crossing a state line. Why not unite forces and resources? If the United States and Canada teamed up, O’Leary believes they’d create an economic juggernaut with unfathomable resources—water, energy, lumber, you name it. The idea of merging economic strength into one powerful nation is bold, but for those who believe in American exceptionalism, it isn’t entirely outlandish.

Of course, O’Leary isn’t entirely unaware of the Canadian populace’s hesitations about losing sovereignty. Despite that, he insists that the resources Canada possesses—ones American states could only dream of—could lead to a fruitful exchange of goods and services. Not to mention, Canadians themselves are starting to express interest in this concept. Perhaps over the holidays, with too much eggnog and not enough common sense, they began pondering what an economic partnership could mean for both nations.

To further this dialogue, O’Leary has decided to head straight to Mar-a-Lago to chat with Trump. He shrugs off any concerns about Trudeau negotiating on behalf of Canadians. After all, who wants a liberal prime minister at the helm of this ship? O’Leary is determined to be the pilot of this narrative, confident that the conversion of resources and economies could be an economic game-changer. If there’s ever been a moment for out-of-the-box thinking, this is it. So, while the suggestion of admitting Canada into the union might make some shake their heads, O’Leary sees a spark of potential, and for many conservatives, that’s worth cheering for.
