Americans for Prosperity Action, a freedom-loving, conservative group backed by the Koch brothers, has made a bold move in their spending strategy following Nikki Haley’s loss to former President Donald Trump in the South Carolina primary.

The group’s CEO, Emily Seidel, fired off a fiery email to her staff, obtained by Politico, stating that AFP Action will be reassessing its spending priorities following Haley’s loss. The organization will now focus its resources on crucial Senate and House races, rather than continuing to support Haley’s uphill battle.
Seidel emphasized that while AFP Action fully supports Haley’s determination to keep fighting, the organization is skeptical about the impact of their financial support on her chances of winning in upcoming primary states. She also warned about the dire consequences of a Democratic Party dominated by the Progressive Left, especially if former President Donald Trump is leading the Republican ticket.
In the wake of Haley’s defeat to Trump by a significant 20-point margin in her own state, it’s clear that her path to victory is becoming increasingly challenging. While Haley has vowed to soldier on until Super Tuesday on March 5, the uphill battle against the formidable Trump has compelled AFP Action to rethink its strategy.

However, their decision to back Haley as the preferred Trump alternative only came in late November.
