The plot thickens as the FBI recently got their hands on Mayor Adams’ phone and raided the home of one of his top fundraisers. Can you imagine the nerve of these investigators? They apparently even had the audacity to stop Adams on the street and ask his security detail to step aside! As if that wasn’t shocking enough, they then proceeded to seize his cell phone and an iPad from his fancy SUV. Talk about invading someone’s personal space! But hey, when you’re an FBI agent on a mission to uncover potential corruption, I guess boundaries just go out the window.
Oh, but it doesn’t stop there, my friends. The FBI also executed a search warrant on the home of Adams’ campaign consultant. They discovered a treasure trove of evidence, including three iPhones, two laptops, personal documents, and more. But the real kicker is what they found – a “manila folder labeled Eric Adams” and seven “contribution card binders.” It’s like they stumbled upon a secret stash in a spy movie! Who knew campaign donations could be so thrilling? You just can’t make this stuff up, folks.
Now, as if being investigated for illegal campaign donations from Turkey wasn’t enough, Mayor Adams also finds himself facing sexual assault allegations from way back in 1993. A woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, has filed a legal action accusing Adams of sexual assault. The filing is brief and doesn’t provide much detail, but it alleges that the assault took place when they both worked for the City of New York. Now, bear in mind, these are just allegations, but if there’s any truth to them, then we’ve got a real mess on our hands.
It’s hard not to shake our heads at yet another example of shady behavior from a Democratic politician.
