Pompeo Urges Trump to Support Iranian Resistance Against Ayatollah

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is sounding the alarm bells on the Iranian regime and calling for action as he declares the days of the Ayatollah are numbered. While giving a speech in Paris, Pompeo urged future President Trump to embrace the Iranian resistance movement known as the MEK, positioning it as a key to expedite the regime’s downfall. It seems there’s nothing quite like the scent of impending regime change to energize a room full of conservatives.

Pompeo asserted that with a return to the United States’ robust pressure campaign, the Iranian regime would find itself even more precarious. He emphasized that the Iranian resistance is on the right path and has shown remarkable resilience in the face of tyranny. It’s almost as if he’s offering a grassroots manual for regime change—step one: support the resistance, step two: watch as the regime crumbles.

In his remarks, Pompeo highlighted the significant contributions of the resistance in exposing the Iranian regime’s nuclear ambitions and missile programs. These insights are akin to releasing the blueprint to a failing amusement park ride—everyone within range is grateful for the heads-up. The resistance is not only brave but has also managed to tally up an impressive amount of international support, demonstrating that a unified front can spell trouble for tyrants. Who knew regime change could generate such enthusiasm?

He continued by calling for a new U.S. policy that would offer even more support to the Iranian resistance. This isn’t just a wish list; it’s a strategic move into the chess game of international politics. Pompeo recognized that Trump has a track record of discussing the successful maximum pressure campaign that could bring this tyrannical regime to its knees. One can imagine the foreign policy strategists salivating at the thought of reigniting those tactics.

Pompeo’s confident proclamation that the regime’s end is “in reach” serves as a powerful rallying cry for conservatives yearning for democracy and freedom throughout the Middle East. It’s a tantalizing prospect: a future where Iran is not only freed from authoritarian rule but also transformed into an ally of the West. The Iranian resistance has proven that with the right support, even the mightiest regimes can fall. One can almost hear the distant echoes of democracy ringing across the water.
