Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Slams Zuckerberg over COVID Censorship Admission

In a stunning turn of events, not only has Robert F. Kennedy Jr. taken aim at Mark Zuckerberg over his recent admission of government collusion in COVID-19 censorship, but it also seems the once-dubious conspiracy theorists have been validated yet again. Zuckerberg, the big boss of Meta, finally fessed up to what many already knew: the Biden administration strong-armed Facebook and its pals into suppressing free speech surrounding COVID-19. For people who enjoy being proven right, this revelation is like finding a hidden stash of chocolate in the pantry.

Kennedy—a man who’s got some serious beef with Big Tech censorship—has been at the forefront of calling out the coordinated efforts that trammeled First Amendment rights during the pandemic. He was quick to point out that Zuckerberg’s half-hearted apology feels like a classic case of closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. It’s almost poetic that his criticisms, which fell on deaf ears in the past, now sound eerily prescient. Kennedy’s own litigious dance with the government revolved around his claims that the Biden administration had been co-conspiring with social media to stifle any dissenting views—an accusation that, until now, sounded like something only tinfoil hat-wearing skeptics would dream up.

Kennedy has been nothing short of a warrior against the government’s heavy-handed tactics, arguing that their health mandates disproportionately harmed society’s most vulnerable. Among his target audience were blue-collar workers, small business owners, and even communities of color—statistics showing the closure of a staggering 41% of Black-owned businesses paint a grim picture. Not surprisingly, this was all dismissed as the ravings of right-wing nonsense, yet here we are, with the realization that those deemed “conspiracy theorists” might actually have had a clearer view of reality.

House Republicans, perhaps relishing this newfound confirmation, shared Zuckerberg’s admission with the world. His letter laid it all out in black and white: Biden’s crew pressured Facebook to censor content, Facebook complied, and they even had the audacity to throttle the Hunter Biden laptop story. For those in the know, this is a big win for free speech, and a hard pill to swallow for anyone who has been downplaying these concerns over the last few years.

The irony of Zuckerberg’s claim to “non-partisan” election funding—often referred to as “Zuckerbucks”—is thick enough to slice. Even as he attempts to walk back his previous actions, there’s a lingering suspicion that this apology might be more about legal self-preservation than genuine remorse. Regardless of his intentions, the truth remains: conservative voices have been stifled time and again in social media’s war of narratives. And while the future of free speech on Meta’s platforms hangs in the balance, one can only wait and watch to see if Zuckerberg’s supposed redemption is anything more than lip service.
