Trump Slams Biden’s Easter Trans Day Move

As Americans look back on the Biden presidency, many recall a period marked by confusion and a troubling disregard for the nation’s religious heritage. While the administration paid lip service to unity and tolerance, its actual policies often left people of faith feeling marginalized and even targeted. Instead of fostering an environment where religious freedom could flourish, the Biden White House sided with the progressive wing of its party, rolling back protections for faith-based organizations and pushing for policies that left little room for the conscience rights of millions of Americans.

Nowhere was this more apparent than in the Department of Justice’s aggressive prosecution of peaceful pro-life protesters, some of whom were elderly citizens simply praying or singing hymns outside abortion clinics. These individuals, motivated by deep convictions, suddenly found themselves facing federal charges and multi-year prison sentences. Meanwhile, the administration turned a blind eye to a surge in violence and vandalism against churches and pro-life centers. In 2023 alone, attacks on Christian institutions soared to more than eight times the number seen just five years prior, yet the DOJ’s response was tepid at best.

Perhaps the most egregious example of the administration’s tone-deafness came in 2024, when President Biden declared March 31—Easter Sunday—as “Transgender Day of Visibility.” For Christians, Easter is the holiest day of the year, a celebration of Christ’s resurrection, yet the White House chose to overshadow this sacred occasion with a divisive political statement. This move, rightly condemned by conservative leaders and Christian Americans alike, was seen as a direct affront to the nation’s religious roots and a clear indication of where the administration’s priorities lay.

The Biden administration’s approach extended beyond symbolic slights. Federal agencies sought to repeal religious-liberty protections on college campuses, force faith-based foster care providers to violate their beliefs, and even considered infiltrating Catholic churches under the guise of “threat mitigation.” These actions were not isolated incidents but part of a broader pattern of hostility toward traditional religious values. As Senator Josh Hawley and others have pointed out, the weaponization of federal power against people of faith during this era was unprecedented and demands accountability.

Thankfully, with new leadership in Washington, the tide appears to be turning. Recent executive actions have prioritized eradicating anti-Christian bias and restoring religious liberty to its rightful place in American life. Churches and faith-based organizations are once again free to serve their communities without fear of government reprisal. For conservatives and people of faith, this new chapter offers hope that the mistakes of the recent past will not be repeated and that the fundamental right to worship freely will be protected for generations to come.
