According to an investigation by Wired magazine, Zuckerberg is shelling out a staggering $270 million to construct an underground bunker on a 1,400-acre compound in Hawaii. This luxurious hideaway will boast at least 30 bedrooms and bathrooms, ensuring that Zuckerberg can ride out any apocalyptic scenario in style.

The project, known as Koolau Ranch, includes a 5,000-square-foot underground shelter equipped with its own energy and food supplies. But the construction of this mega-bunker hasn’t come without controversy. Wired found that Zuckerberg has been leveraging his powerful connections to push through his plans, showing little regard for the concerns of the local community.
To maintain an air of secrecy surrounding the project, anyone involved in the construction is bound by strict non-disclosure agreements.
