Glenn Thompson, a 44-year-old bond broker at Cantor Fitzgerald, was working on the 104th floor of the North Tower when the worst unfolded. That morning, he had just sent his son off to school before heading to his Manhattan office, completely unaware of the tragedy soon to come. His last phone call to his wife, Kai Hernandez, was an emotional goodbye made amid chaos—a small moment of love in the face of disaster.
Kai’s story is a portrait of courage and resilience. That fateful day shook her world to its core, but she transformed loss into hope by creating the Glenn Thompson Memorial 9/11 Scholarship.
