America’s Trade Deal with India: Is Our Economic Future Being Sold Out?

As America stands on the brink of a trade deal with India, there’s a lot to unpack. The left seldom acknowledges it, but fair trade is the backbone of our country. Yet again, this administration juggles these deals like a clumsy circus act. We teeter close to deadlines with no substantial results. Talk about a strategy driven more by desperation than foresight.

Our Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, claims we’re almost there. But let’s not kid ourselves. This administration has a knack for touting victories before they exist. They drag their feet until the eleventh hour. You can’t run a lemonade stand like this, let alone the largest economy in the world. Deadlines looming over their heads seem more like a career norm than a trigger for efficient governance.

Why is it that when it comes to trade, the left wants us to hold hands and sing Kumbaya with everyone else, yet our interests keep getting watered down? They whine about tariffs but ignore the unfair practices of these so-called trading “partners.” Not everyone plays nice, and it’s high time we stop pretending they do. Where is the consistency in holding foreign governments accountable?

Even with a powerhouse like India, we need to ensure these deals work for American workers. While globalists dream of open borders and shared economies, real Americans live through the consequences of bad deals. Our trade policies should echo the strength of American values, not bend to the whims of international interests. We’re not just dealing with India; we’re fighting for our economic sovereignty.

If this administration can pull its head out of the clouds, maybe there’s hope for a trade deal that actually supports our workers. But who’s holding them accountable when they cheer over every tiny diplomatic win while Rome burns? If incompetence is their strategy, then we are in for a wild, disappointing ride. Are they leading us to ruin, or can we claw back some respect on the global stage?
