Residents, especially those in the Sarasota area, are feeling the tension rise as mandatory evacuations have been put in place for zones A through C. With memories of Hurricane Helene still fresh in their minds, many locals have chosen to pack their bags and head for safer ground.
Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, representing a district directly in Milton’s potential path, has been tirelessly supporting her constituents as they brace for impact.
