In a move that surprised absolutely no one, President Joe Biden packed his bags and hightailed it out of the White House to visit Israel. Because apparently, when tensions in the Middle East reach their highest point in decades, the first thing you should do is leave your own country. Makes perfect sense, right?

But let’s talk about why Uncle Joe felt the need to abandon his responsibilities. Oh yes, it’s because the Iranian-backed terror group, Hamas, thought it would be a grand idea to launch an attack, killing around 1,400 innocent people and taking hostages as if they were collecting trading cards. Bravo, Hamas, bravo. But hey, at least they’re consistent with their pattern of senseless violence.
And of course, Biden couldn’t resist making a grand entrance with a dramatic statement. He boldly declared, “You’re not alone. As long as the United States stands — and we will stand forever — we will not let you ever be alone.” Wow, Joe, way to whip out the clichés and empty promises. We’re all so comforted now.
But it didn’t end there. In a truly cringe-worthy moment, President Biden actually had the audacity to compare the Hamas attack to the tragic events of 9/11. Yes, you heard that right. He had the nerve to equate the senseless murder of thousands of innocent Americans to the actions of a terrorist group. Nice try, Biden, but no cigar.
Now, let’s not forget about the good ol’ pro-Palestinian demonstrators who decided it was a great idea to swarm Capitol Hill. Because what better way to express your grievances than by causing chaos and disruption? Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene caught the whole thing on camera, referring to the chaos as “an insurrection.” And she’s not wrong. It’s about time someone called out these so-called peaceful protesters for what they really are.
All in all, it’s clear that President Biden’s trip to Israel was nothing more than a political photo op. He conveniently forgot to address the actual issues at hand and instead preferred to spew empty rhetoric and comparisons that held no weight. But hey, at least he got some cool social media posts out of it, right? Oh, Joe, you truly are a master of distraction.
