Biden Campaign Falsely Accuses Trump of Pushing Birth Control Restrictions

Former President Trump recently discussed the possibility of allowing states to set restrictions on access to birth control. He mentioned in an interview that there may be different policies on contraception in various states. Afterward, he clarified his stance on Truth Social, stating that he does not support imposing restrictions on birth control or other forms of contraception. He emphasized that he and the Republican Party do not advocate for a ban on birth control.

However, a spokesperson for the Biden-Harris presidential campaign criticized Trump, claiming that he wants to further restrict access to birth control and emergency contraceptives. Trump dismissed this statement as a “Democrat fabricated lie” and stated that it was misinformation. He also accused the Democrats of having nothing else to run on except failure, poverty, and death.

Overall, Trump’s initial remarks on birth control sparked a brief controversy, but he quickly addressed the issue and clarified his position.
