In a moment that showcased President Joe Biden’s tendency to mix up reality with his own imagination, he recounted an utterly bizarre interaction with the long-deceased François Mitterrand, former President of France. Now, it’s no secret that Biden has a penchant for gaffes, but this one takes the cake.

According to Biden, in this alternate universe he created, right after his election, he attended a G7 meeting where he boldly proclaimed, “America’s back!” And in response, the ghost of Mitterrand miraculously appeared and asked, “How long you back for?”
Now, it’s one thing to make up a story about meeting someone famous, but it’s a whole other level of absurdity to claim you had a conversation with someone who has been dead for over two decades. I mean, is Biden trying to channel his inner Medium-in-Chief now?
But let’s not dwell too much on the details – or the lack thereof – of this fictional exchange. The real concern here is that our President seems to be living in his own fantasy world, where he can conjure up conversations with dead world leaders. It’s enough to make you question whether he’s fit to lead the free world.
Of course, the mainstream media will likely downplay this bizarre episode, treating it as yet another harmless blunder. But let’s not forget how the media would react if a Republican President had claimed to have chatted with Abraham Lincoln or Ronald Reagan. They would be all over it, calling for a psychiatric evaluation faster than you can say “fake news.”
But don’t hold your breath waiting for the media to hold Biden accountable. They’ve made their priorities clear, and protecting the liberal agenda will always come before journalistic integrity.
In the end, this laughable story is just another reminder that we have a President who is more concerned with spinning wild tales than actually leading. It’s time for America to wake up and demand better. We deserve a President who can distinguish fact from fiction, not someone who blurs the lines between the living and the dead.
