Biden Faces Persistent Anti-Israel Protesters in Scranton Visit

President Joe Biden, the sleepy Scranton native, was met with a raucous welcome as he spent the night in his former hometown. A group of about six anti-Israel protesters caused a ruckus outside his hotel for three hours, serenading the president with chants and loud music. These protesters have been doggedly following Biden around, from fundraisers to family vacations, and now even to Scranton.

These protesters are not holding back, boldly demanding that “Genocide Joe” go and accusing him of murder. They even went as far as to blast music and bang on drums in an attempt to keep Biden from getting his beauty sleep. It’s unclear if the president heard them, but one thing’s for sure, they’re not going away anytime soon.

Biden, who has recently shifted his stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict, seems to have incurred the wrath of these protesters. Despite his call for an “immediate ceasefire” in the conflict, the protesters’ determination remains unshaken, as they continue to disrupt his public appearances and even block traffic in major cities.

The protesters’ aggressive tactics have drawn criticism from both sides of the political aisle, with politicians like Sens. Tom Cotton and John Fetterman calling for them to cease their disruptive actions. However, their calls have fallen on deaf ears as the protesters show no signs of backing down.

As Biden leaves his sleepy hometown for Pittsburgh today, one can’t help but wonder if these protesters will continue to trail him, causing disturbances wherever he goes. Only time will tell if they will persist in their efforts to disrupt the president’s activities.
