Hagos, who hails from Oakland, California, recently packed his bags and moved to Gates County. But before you start thinking he’s just another law-abiding citizen seeking a fresh start, think again. This 32-year-old arrived in the U.S. in 2016 on a nonimmigrant visa, but like a bad house guest who just won’t leave, he overstayed his welcome, making him an illegal alien. And guess who has confirmed this tidbit? None other than Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Now, here’s where the plot thickens. Gates County Sheriff Ray Campbell dropped a bombshell when he revealed that federal officials tipped him off about Hagos being on the Terror Watch List. However, ICE won’t spill the beans on this crucial detail, leaving everyone scratching their heads. Talk about being kept in the dark! Even Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, House Speaker Timothy Moore, and state Senate President Pro Tempore Philip Berger are demanding answers from Biden. They want to know whether Hagos is really on the Terror Watch List and which terrorist group he may or may not be connected to.
