Well, well, well, folks, it looks like Uncle Joe is at it again with his misleading claims. President Biden recently took to social media to boast about his administration’s job creation numbers, comparing them to those of former President Donald Trump. But let’s not be fooled by his flashy chart, because there is a whole lot of important context missing from this story.
Sure, the numbers might technically be accurate, but what Biden conveniently forgets to mention is the massive impact that the Covid-19 pandemic had on Trump’s presidency. We all remember when this unprecedented crisis hit our nation like a ton of bricks. Trump declared a national emergency and had to navigate through uncharted waters to protect the American people. The pandemic caused a massive and sudden fall in employment, but guess what? Job numbers immediately started to bounce back. It’s basic economics, folks.

But Biden wants you to believe that he is some kind of savior who single-handedly saved the economy from doom. Give me a break! Yes, the end of the pandemic and the reopening of the country certainly had a positive impact on job creation. But let’s not forget that our economy was already on the road to recovery before Biden even stepped foot in the Oval Office. Trump had managed to bring our employment numbers back up to 142.9 million non-farm employees by the time he left office.
And it didn’t stop there, my friends. Our economy continued to soar under Biden, with employment surpassing pre-pandemic levels by September 2022. So, yes, it’s great that Biden’s numbers look good, but let’s not kid ourselves. He simply rode the wave of an already recovering economy. The hard work had already been done, and he just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
It’s important to remember that politicians, no matter how much they like to take credit, cannot control everything. Market forces and unforeseen shocks play a significant role in our economy. So, let’s not give all the credit, or all the blame, to the politicians. They’re just along for the ride, folks.
The bottom line is that Biden’s claim about job creation is misleading. He conveniently ignores the tremendous challenges that Trump faced during the pandemic and the fact that our economy was already rebounding under his leadership. So, don’t be fooled by the flashy charts and the social media hype. Always look for the full story, my fellow conservatives, because that’s where the real truth lies.
