This past week has been a tough one for President Joe Biden and the Democrat squad. The newspapers are catching fire nationwide after the brazen shooting of former President Donald Trump. It seems the left’s unchecked rhetoric might be coming home to roost.
Trump was the target at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday. Thankfully, he’s unscathed, unlike the two unfortunate souls who weren’t as lucky: a rally attendee and the deranged shooter. But let’s talk about the real elephant in the room – the verbal grenades being lobbed from the left. The Republicans and conservatives are sounding off, claiming that the left-wing chatter is not only absurd but also might have lit the fuse for this violent attack.

One can hark back to Biden’s colorful oratory in 2022 when he painted Trump and the “MAGA Republicans” as a direct threat to democracy. Fast forward to this week, and the President’s words are looking more incendiary than ever. During an NBC interview, Biden did a verbal backflip to defend his previous remark about putting Trump “in the bullseye.” When questioned on this glaringly hostile language, Biden quibbled about semantics, failing to utter “crosshairs” but doubling down on the notion of targeting Trump’s agenda.
The president’s desperate attempt to sidestep responsibility by splitting hairs between “bullseye” and “crosshairs” has added fuel to the fire. Even when NBC’s Lester Holt tried nudging him toward some introspection, Biden held his ground. He steadfastly called Trump a menace to democracy, suggesting that his words should somehow be immune to scrutiny even if they stoke the flames among unstable listeners.
Switching gears to the looming 2024 elections, the fearmongering has hit peak levels. Figures like former Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn are sounding alarms about the lefties potentially hijacking the electoral process altogether. If they get their way, there might be no valid election, no real electoral count, and worst of all, no voice for the American people. The Western Journal vows to keep fighting the uphill battle against media lies and America-loathing elites, but they’re calling for reinforcements.
In summary, it’s high noon in Washington. Biden’s fishy language and the left’s rhetoric are raising vital questions about accountability. The echoes of the past week’s tragedies are reverberating through the nation, starkly illustrating the dangers of reckless speech. America better brace itself.
