The Biden White House is standing firm in its decision to keep President Biden’s chat with Special Counsel Robert Hur under wraps. They’re claiming that Joe Biden slapped on the ol’ executive privilege sticker at the behest of the attorney general. Can you believe it?
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre fielded some heat about why they won’t spill the beans and release the audio of Biden’s chitchat with Special Counsel Hur. Some nosy reporters were like, “Hey, how about some transparency up in here?” But Jean-Pierre was all, “Nope, the chat logs are already out there in the wild, so no need to spill the audio tea.”

She was really hammering in the point that the attorney general had whispered in Biden’s ear, telling him that these files are like precious jewels that need to be safeguarded. Jean-Pierre kept regurgitating this fancy lawyer speak like it was going out of style, making sure everyone knew that this decision was all thanks to the attorney general’s subtle nudge.
Now, the reason for all this secrecy could be because Hur spilled the beans that Biden was a bit scatterbrained and tired during the interview. Hur ultimately shrugged and said there wasn’t enough dirt to bury Biden with, calling him an old fella with a forgetful mind. Classic move, blaming it on age, right?
