The circus continues as President Joe Biden, our absentee leader, gallivants around the globe. This time, he’s frolicking with royalty in the Netherlands. While Americans back home deal with rising costs, crime, and a porous border, Biden seems more interested in playing dress-up with European elites. What’s next, brunch with the Queen of England too?
Biden rubs shoulders with the Netherlands’ King and Queen in a closed-door breakfast. Keeping things hush-hush with kings and queens may look good in those staged photos, but behind the scenes, what’s being discussed? Is it more climate change chit-chat or a pact that sells American interests down the European river? Americans deserve transparency, not quaint little tea parties.
Later, it’s off to a meet-and-greet with the NATO Secretary General. Biden’s addiction to globalism knows no bounds. With every handshake, our sovereignty slips further away. We can bet there’s a nod or a wink that further entrenches us in endless commitments that bear little fruit for working-class Americans. Biden’s priorities appear to be more focused on appeasing foreign dignitaries than on securing America’s borders or restoring our economy.
And let’s not forget the infamous NATO family photo. It’s a pleasant reminder of just how entangled the US is in this organization. In typical fashion, it’s all smiles for the cameras. What’s behind those smiles, though? Europeans wrapped snug in America’s military umbrella while lecturing us on international responsibilities? The hypocrisy is infuriating. Where’s the fairness in footing the bill while they point fingers at American policies?
Back to the States, Biden returns to D.C. like a conquering hero. But it begs the question—who’s leading America while Biden’s chasing photo ops abroad? Americans face the daily grind alone as tone-deaf elites enjoy their overseas pageantries. Instead of addressing real issues like the border crisis, inflation, or crime rates, it’s all about preserving political appearances. Maybe it’s time for Biden to focus on his own backyard instead of smiling for cameras overseas.
