The December Consumer Price Index revealed that inflation is soaring higher than projected, with prices increasing both month-to-month and year-over-year. The report underscores the harsh reality that, under Biden’s watch, the cost of living is skyrocketing.
Rising energy and housing costs have played a significant role in this inflation surge, hitting American families right where it hurts the most. Gas prices are on the climb once again, and housing costs are accounting for a whopping half of the increase in core inflation. Thanks a lot, Biden!
In his feeble attempt to deflect blame, Biden boasted about a slight decrease in inflation rates from its peak, conveniently ignoring the fact that costs are still through the roof for everyday essentials. However, the American people aren’t buying his excuses. With prices soaring and wallets feeling lighter, it’s clear that Biden’s policies have failed to deliver the relief he promised.
Instead of facing the harsh truth, Biden has resorted to fear-mongering by warning of even higher prices should those “extreme Republicans” take over. But the only extreme thing here is Biden’s inability to take responsibility for the economic mess he’s created.
It’s no wonder the American people are giving Biden failing grades for his handling of the economy. With just 37.9% approval, it’s crystal clear that the majority of Americans are fed up with Biden’s bungling of the economy. As the 2024 election looms, it’s becoming increasingly apparent that the American people are ready to bring in a leader who can actually deliver on economic prosperity. And it certainly won’t be Biden!
