As the saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and it seems neither was the monumental chaos left by Joe Biden. According to recent reports, President Trump has quite a herculean task ahead of him. When he stepped into office, he found an economy in tatters, inflation soaring, and gas prices climbing like a cat up a tree. There wasn’t much growth to speak of, and American industry was about as lively as a sloth taking a nap. Wages were stuck in the mud, and consumer debt was shooting through the ceiling. Let’s not even talk about the very welcome interest rates – they’ve tripled. If the picture painted was akin to a horror movie, you’d be tempted to look away.
But Biden’s mess didn’t confine itself to the economy. Down at the border, it was as if someone had opened the floodgates. Illegal immigration hit a record, and let’s be honest, no one knew how many had slipped through. The country saw individuals of all types making their way past the borders, including some who shouldn’t even have been on this side of a Hollywood set. From terrorists to traffickers of all kinds, the list was as long as a CVS receipt. And the foreign policy front, well, wasn’t much prettier. The U.S. was losing influence faster than an ice cream cone melting in the summer sun.
Sounding like a story out of a thriller novel, there were Iranian assassination squads, and the U.S.’s foes seemed to think the country had lost its bite. Remember that spy balloon incident? While Biden was spinning his wheels, China was operating freely over our very heads. Let’s also remember the toxic cocktail of ideology brewing on college campuses during that time. The woke politics were making their rounds in the military, in schools – places that had no business hosting such radical ideas in the first place.
Then came President Trump, armed with a broom and heading to clean house. If anything, he was eager to dust off Biden’s mishaps faster than you can say MAGA. Trump set about slashing suffocating regulations, freeing up American gas and oil industries, and chopping down the overgrown forest of government bureaucracy. The outcome? Jobs, jobs, and more jobs! Over 500,000 to be exact, with the federal workforce seeing a neat cut as well.
In less than six blinks of an eye or months as we call them, Trump was already putting a solid dent in the mismanagement of the previous administration. Border security saw immediate improvements, and crime rates were dropping in major cities notorious for their low tolerance of law enforcement. Schools were also shaking off old policies and steering away from the clutches of woke politics. In the military, the focus returned to defending liberty rather than pandering to political ideologies. If the past four years under Biden seemed like a daunting four-course meal of disasters, thank goodness for a dessert as sweet as Trump’s decisive actions. Let’s watch as President Trump reforms this country faster than one can say, “Sleepy Joe.”
