Blame Biden: Poll Shows Majority Point Finger at Dems for Border Debacle

In a recent survey, only 29 percent of the 528 adult respondents attributed a significant amount of blame to President Trump for Congress's inability to pass legislation aimed at reducing illegal border crossings. Surprisingly, 35 percent placed a great deal of blame on President Joe Biden. However, it's important to note that both groups likely comprised partisan individuals whose voting preferences are already firmly established. The higher level of blame directed at Biden is particularly frustrating and highlights the disconnect between the progressive left and reality.

According to The New York Times, Democratic Senate leader Sen. Chuck Schumer asserts that Democrats have shifted the narrative on the border, positioning themselves as proactive rather than reactive. This statement overlooks the glaring reality of the situation.

The audacious assertion from the progressive left that Republicans are indifferent to addressing border issues and are solely interested in exploiting them for political gain is incredulous. Sen. Schumer's attempt to portray Democrats as the victims of political exploitation is misleading at best. It is the Democrats who are leveraging the border situation to sow division.

A YouTube poll offered little encouragement for congressional Democrats, revealing that 31 percent of respondents placed significant blame on Democrats for the failure of the border bill, while another 31 percent held the GOP equally accountable.

The Wall Street Journal hinted at the shortcomings of the GOP candidate, noting her lack of a viable alternative despite denouncing the bipartisan deal. In a debate with the successful Democratic candidate, her platform merely reiterated the desire to secure the border, construct a wall, and tighten asylum regulations, rendering her candidacy as fundamentally flawed.

The economic policies implemented by the Biden administration have garnered widespread disapproval, not only for diverting attention away from American communities but also for exacerbating disparities in wages and workplace investment, favoring Wall Street, real estate, coastal states, and government interests. This approach has contributed to a rise in "deaths of despair" among marginalized Americans.

The resounding defeat of the flawed bipartisan migration bill on February 7 underscores the GOP's renewed emphasis on populist concerns regarding the economic and social burdens of migration. It is evident that President Biden and his allies bear the brunt of responsibility for the failed migration deal.

The American public is demanding decisive action from the Biden administration to address border security, recognizing it as a critical issue affecting every individual. It is time for Democrats to heed the voices of the American people and hold President Biden accountable for this crisis. The blame game must end, and the failure of the migration deal serves as a stark reminder of the shortcomings of Democratic policies in serving the interests of the American people.
