Blame Biden: Poll Shows Majority Point Finger at Dems for Border Debacle

According to a recent survey of 528 adults, a mere 29 percent attributed "a great deal" the failure of Congress to pass legislation aimed at reducing illicit border crossings to President Trump. In contrast, 35 percent attributed the same degree of responsibility to President Joe Biden. However, it is probable that both groups of respondents comprised partisans whose allegiances were already determined to one party.

The degree of fault that Biden bears is beyond baffling. This merely serves to demonstrate the progressive left's detachment from actuality. As reported by The New York Times, Senator Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Democratic Party in the Senate, asserts that "we have now positioned the Democrats in a favorable position with regard to the border, whereas prior to this incident we were in a disadvantaged position."

The progressive left circulates the abhorrent claim that Republicans are more concerned with demonizing hard-working immigrants than with repairing the border as a political issue. Consider that Chuck Schumer? The Democrats are the ones who seek to sow discord among us by exploiting the situation. A YouTube poll revealed that congressional Democrats had little cause for optimism, as 31% of respondents attributed "a great deal" of responsibility to Democrats for the border bill's defeat, while 31% attributed "a great deal" of responsibility to the GOP.

The Wall Street Journal alludes to the Republican candidate's frailty by noting that she characterized the bipartisan agreement as a "absolute nonstarter" but failed to offer a viable alternative. She reiterated throughout her debate with the victorious Democratic candidate her support for border security, the construction of the barrier, and stricter asylum regulations. It was stated that the candidate was "hopelessly flawed."

Beyond shifting the attention of politicians away from American communities, the economic policy implemented by the Biden administration is also "extremely unpopular" due to the redistribution of family incomes, workplace investments, and wages to Wall Street, real estate, coastal states, and the government. An increase in "deaths of despair" among discarded Americans is another consequence. The lopsided, fraudulent, and pro-immigration bill's startling defeat on February 7 merely demonstrates that Republican leaders have shifted their attention to populist concerns regarding the economic and civic burdens of migration.

The responsibility for the unsuccessful migration agreement is now unequivocally attributed to President Joe Biden and his allied factions. Everyone is aware that the American people are pleading with the Biden administration to secure the border, as this is a matter that affects each and every individual. The Democratic Party should heed the advice of the American people and immediately begin measures to ensure that Biden is held responsible for this catastrophe. The failed migration agreement is unequivocally evidence that the Democratic Party's policies are not meeting the expectations of the American people.
