Bobby Kennedy III Deletes Video of RFK Jr and Trump Call, Apologizes

Someone has been a busy bee on social media yet again. This time, it’s Bobby Kennedy III, the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the Democratic outlier who’s been making waves lately. In a series of events that can only be described as both comedic and tragic, he posted—and then quickly deleted—a video of a phone conversation between RFK Jr. and Donald Trump. One can only imagine the facepalms over at Camp Kennedy.

When RFK Jr. discovered that his conversation with Trump was plastered all over the internet, he was mortified. The aspirational candidate even took to social media platform X to apologize to Trump, saying he should have stopped the in-house videographer from recording. Perhaps it’s time to introduce a “Videography 101” class for all politicians—Consent: It’s Not Just for Dinner Dates.

According to young Bobby Kennedy III, the reason for the video’s vanishing act was because he mistook sarcasm for real life. In his initial post, Bobby III stated he believes such conversations should be public, asserting the topic revolved around Trump’s opinions on vaccinations for kids. Clearly, no good deed goes unpunished in the Kennedy household.

Now, about that call. As Donald Trump passionately reiterated his well-known views on vaccines, RFK Jr. listened. Trump suggested administering vaccinations in small doses to prevent babies from undergoing “radical” changes. RFK Jr., known for his skepticism about vaccines himself, seemed to be engaged in the conversation. Who knew the “radical” changes in question were not about politics but about babies? One can’t make this stuff up.

Toward the end of the call, Trump appeared to be mustering his motivational speaking skills, encouraging RFK Jr. to run strong, mentioning their lead and underscoring the importance of winning. A unity ticket with Kennedy Jr.? Perhaps it was floated before Trump chose Sen. J.D. Vance as his running mate. Pretty rich stuff, considering the Democratic machine has struggled to keep RFK Jr. in their fold. If this is about national unity, Trump calling for Kennedy to receive Secret Service protection speaks volumes.

In another amusing aside, Trump rambled about someone questioning his head movements—which he clarified were because he was viewing an immigration chart—and likened the sound of a bullet near his ear to “the world’s largest mosquito.” Not missing a beat, Trump finished the clip by marveling at the power of an AR-15. Some might say feeding the speculation machine is Trump’s favorite pastime.
