Brave Worshippers With Guns Stop Tragedy in Michigan Church Attack

In a world where it’s become terrifyingly necessary to defend places of worship like battlegrounds, the scene at CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Michigan, proves the vital importance of the Second Amendment. When an armed assailant attempted to execute a well-armed, tactical assault on innocent congregants, it was the courage and preparedness of good men with guns that thwarted a potential massacre. This isn’t merely a story of violence; it’s about the resilience and preparedness that kept evil at bay.

These brave deacons and security team members, the heroes of the day, didn’t hesitate to risk everything to protect their fellow worshippers. Positioned by fate, and perhaps divine guidance, they stood up to a madman, countering his firepower with their own. It’s a powerful testament to why law-abiding citizens must retain the right to bear arms. This isn’t the time for misguided liberal “gun control” fantasies. It’s time we acknowledge that the only thing stopping a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with one—and sometimes, with an F-150 too.

This heroic stand was taken as children gathered at the front for a Vacation Bible School program. The scene sends chills down the spine, not just for the danger, but for the relentless assault on Christian values in this country. It’s high time we called out the cultural rot and anti-Christian sentiment festering in society, fueled by a left-wing agenda that often turns a blind eye when churches and synagogues become targets.

We must question why these beautiful places of faith are under siege, and why arming our congregations has become necessary. Where are the liberal voices of reason when evil men threaten our places of solace with violence? What happened in Wayne is a stark reminder of the world’s reality and should serve as a wake-up call that faith alone won’t stop a bullet. Being rooted in faith must be mirrored by readiness and resolve.

To those who believe that a zero-gun policy in holy places will foster peace, the Wayne incident shows otherwise. Let us embrace the lessons learned and fortify our congregations with both prayer and preparation. When push came to shove, it wasn’t a “Gun-Free Zone” sign that saved lives. It was the people who lived by their faith and knew that, sometimes, the cross is best borne with a sidearm.
