The Department of Justice (DOJ) released a new statement regarding former Vice President Mike Pence’s involvement in classified documents found at his house on Thursday which cleared his name and officially ended the investigation. This highlights from the report were made available to the public by the New York Times.
It appears that one of Pence’s lawyers found the documents at his home in Indiana, and promptly contacted the National Archives about it, CNN reported. There was no evidence suggesting that the former Vice President knew about the documents being at his home. Furthermore, a lengthy investigation by the FBI and the National Security Division proved that there was no potential mishandling of the documents, and thus they concluded that there is no need for criminal charges against Vice President Pence.
This news comes on the precipice of Pence’s announcement that he is running in the 2024 presidential election. This is a relief for conservatives everywhere, as Pence’s integrity and character remain untarnished after the DOJ investigation cleared him.

It is a shame that certain left-leaning media organizations that would try to use this to taint his run for president by insinuating that Pence was involved in illegal activities. The mainstream media is willing to air baseless accusations against conservative politicians without any evidence to support their claims. This is just another example of how biased they are in their political pursuits.
Nevertheless, this is a major victory for Pence, and ultimately for the conservative movement. The DOJ’s announcement brings an end to a lengthy and unnecessary investigation, and conservatives can now focus on the crucial issues that are important for our country’s future.
