President Donald Trump is making waves and getting results as his administration takes bold steps to reclaim America’s immigration system. A federal appeals court has empowered the Trump administration, upending the liberal narrative that they could somehow indefinitely protect Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for certain immigrants. The liberal left is in disarray after learning Afghans and Cameroonians enjoying a cozy stay with TPS can no longer assume protection from deportation.
Trump’s opponents in the lower courts have tirelessly tried to block his policies, particularly the contentious issue of terminating TPS for specific groups. But they failed. America cannot endlessly harbor individuals under the guise of TPS when their home countries no longer meet the criteria for such status. The Department of Homeland Security, helmed by Kristi Noem, courageously reversed the naive decisions from the Biden era asserting these nations were too perilous for return. Despite liberal media uproar, a staggering 10,000 people may now have to face reality.

For those impacted, their best bet? Apply for asylum or protections under the Convention Against Torture. This isn’t a free ride; it’s time to play by the rulebook. Many Afghans fled to America when Kabul fell on Joe Biden’s watch, some aided our military efforts, others gained asylum. But let’s be clear, no TPS status lasts forever. As this decision potentially heads to the Supreme Court, Trump shows he means business and won’t back down.
Liberal extremism tried to pull a fast one, blocking progress with judicial trickery. But here, bold leadership prevailed over incompetence. At what point will the left realize Americans want an immigration system that respects both security and sovereignty?
